At first listening to this was a bit frustrating because sometimes I have a hard time with visualization; but eventually I was able connect. I found that by focusing on each window and the color proceeding out of it along with the suggestive words to have a complete calming affect. I was very tired when I started listening to this and I was for sure that I would fall asleep during or right after it. But I actually feel a bit more alert and not quite ready for bed yet. I believe I will use this excercise again in the future.

ReplyDeleteI think it is easy to get frustrated with relaxation exercises if we have scattered thoughts. I found I was able to actually benefit from the exercise when I actually concentrated on it!
I think it will be a oood exercise to continue with as well.
